The community's interests on the Trawsfynydd site are looked after by the Site Stakeholder Group (SSG), an independent body consisting of councillors, regulators, agencies, NDA, the Site Operator, The Fire Brigade, Police, the Health Protection Agency, National Farmers Union, the Food Standards Agency and others.
The Trawsfynydd SSG has been asked to recommend an END STATE to the NDA, this consultation was completed on 31st December 2006. The end state is the state in which the site will be left once the NDA has concluded its clean-up of the site. This relates in particular to what will be done with the infrastructure of roads, drains, water pipes, electrical cables, and building foundations and concrete slabs.
